
Emily is an experienced choral leader, songwriter and arranger, predominantly working with young voices and adult community choirs.
In her role as Leader for Singing and Projects at West Sussex Music, Emily was and remains, heavily involved with devising and delivering the Hub Singing Strategy. In addition, Emily conducted the West Sussex Youth Choir for 8 years, involving them in projects as diverse as taking the young singers on tour to Germany, backing Brian May at The Hawth Theatre, and working with esteemed vocal ensemble VOCES8.
Now working in a free-lance capacity, Emily regularly leads Big Sings, massed choral events and songwriting projects with national young people’s music organisations including Sing Up, Snape Maltings, Youth Music, London Youth Choir and various Music Education Hubs across the country.
A published songwriter, Emily has written many Sing Up Day anthems sung by young voices around the world.
